Development
- After the development of some sprites, the theme of a Halloween dungeon game was decided with a ghost costume player
- The game was decided to be split into 4 levels for each of the team members
- Implemented attack actions of kicking, punching, shooting candy
- Implemented introduction cutscene of the player falling into the dungeon while trick-or-treating
- Singular enemy sprite used for beta
- Added lava as an obstacle
Playtesting
- Addressed bugs regarding monster collisions
- Addressed bug regarding not dying after falling into lava
- Addressed changing intro cutscene layout so it looks more like a cutscene
- Changed enemies so you can't dodge them by jumping over
- Agreed to include an illustrative indication of controls in-game
