Development

  • After the development of some sprites, the theme of a Halloween dungeon game was decided with a ghost costume player
  • The game was decided to be split into 4 levels for each of the team members
  • Implemented attack actions of kicking, punching, shooting candy
  • Implemented introduction cutscene of the player falling into the dungeon while trick-or-treating
  • Singular enemy sprite used for beta
  • Added lava as an obstacle

Playtesting 

  • Addressed bugs regarding monster collisions 
  • Addressed bug regarding not dying after falling into lava
  • Addressed changing intro cutscene layout so it looks more like a cutscene
  • Changed enemies so you can't dodge them by jumping over
  • Agreed to include an illustrative indication of controls in-game
